I had a mixed experience at the Marqueen Hotel. On one hand, the location was fantastic, placing me near the Space Needle and local eateries. However, I found the hotel itself to be quite dated and in need of significant renovations. While the staff were friendly, the condition of the facilities left much to be desired.

Rooms
6.0
My room was spacious, featuring a separate kitchenette and a comfortable king-size bed. but the decor seemed tired and the floors creaked with every step. I appreciated the vintage charm, yet it felt worn out and required better maintenance.
Service
7.0
The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. Heather and one bellman were particularly standout. It was clear that some staff seemed overwhelmed or uninspired, which was disappointing given the otherwise positive atmosphere.
Location
9.0
The hotel's location couldn't be beaten. It was conveniently close to public transport, allowing easy access to downtown Seattle and the iconic attractions nearby.
Dining
5.0
Dining options were limited, and I found the continental breakfast lacking in variety. There wasn't a comfortable lounge area to relax without feeling pressured to buy something.
Facilities
5.0
While the Marqueen offered valet parking and an interesting old-world flair, the renovation work was noticeable and the overall upkeep seemed neglected. The smell from the construction was overwhelming at times.

I had a good stay at the Marqueen Hotel in Seattle, thanks to its charming atmosphere and friendly staff. The location was perfect for exploring the city, and the spacious room I had was quite comfortable. However, the lack of an elevator and some outdated features did take a bit away from the experience.

Rooms

My room was spacious and included a kitchenette, which was perfect for enjoying drinks and snacks. I was on the top floor, so climbing the stairs was a workout—as there’s no elevator—but the charm of the classic decor made it worthwhile.
Service

The staff were super friendly and accommodating. They handled a mix-up with grace, even upgrading me when there was an issue with my room. Their helpfulness made a big difference in my stay.
Location
9.0
I loved the location; it was close to the Space Needle and a bunch of great restaurants. I could easily walk to nearby eateries and even took the monorail into downtown, which made my travels so much easier.
Dining
6.0
Breakfast was a bit basic, consisting of packaged items and some fruit. I wish there had been a better variety, considering the great dining options in the area.
Facilities
7.0
They offered valet parking, which is convenient, though it was a bit pricey at $40 a night. There were no shuttles provided, but everything was walkable, making up for it.

My stay at the Marqueen Hotel was nice, thanks to the friendly staff and the spacious room. However, the building's age showed through some wear and tear. I loved the charm of the older building, but the creaking floors and outdated amenities could be off-putting for some.

The room was spacious with a kitchenette and a sitting area. While it had charm, it felt quite old and some features were in need of maintenance, like the bathroom.

The location is fantastic, just a short walk to the Space Needle and other popular attractions. Plus, there were plenty of good food options nearby.

Dining options at the hotel were less impressive. It felt a bit average and disengaging compared to other experiences I’ve had.

I had a nice stay at the Marqueen Hotel, with a superb location near the Space Needle and other attractions. My room was spacious and clean, but some parts of the hotel felt a bit old-fashioned and in need of renovation. The staff was friendly and helpful, which made my experience that much better.

Rooms

My Deluxe King Room was quite spacious, but it could use some updates, especially in the bathroom and furnishings. I appreciated the size and cleanliness, yet the decor felt old-fashioned and some amenities like a kettle were missing.
Service
8.0
The staff was truly friendly and accommodating. They helped me with my bags and adjusted my room location to avoid street noise, which I appreciated a lot.
Location
9.0
The hotel's location in Lower Queen Anne was ideal for exploring nearby attractions like the Space Needle and Chihuly Glass Garden. While it was slightly further from downtown than I had envisioned, it worked out perfectly for my plans.
Dining
6.0
I found the dining options to be minimal, and the bar area was small. However, I did enjoy being close to various cafes and restaurants in the neighborhood.
Facilities

The hotel offered useful amenities like grocery shopping service and valet parking, though the costs for valet changed upon arrival, which was surprising.
